Vegan eKasi | South African Vegan movement -

Vegan eKasi

Vegan eKasi is a movement to increase the awareness about the benefits of living a plant-based lifestyle amongst people of colour and disadvantaged communities in South Africa.

It was started by Shaiyah and Yahav, who are passionate about the positive change that veganism and plant-based living can make in our society.

Their website was created to share knowledge, recipes and tell the stories of vegan people of colour thriving in South Africa today. They offer a number of programmes and services including vegan events, public speaking and presentations on how to incorporate plant-based eating into your lifestyle. They also assist eateries with plant-based menu planning and advice.

We just love their unique recipes with a distinct South African flavour. They are simple to make and really flavourful.

Visit their website and social media profiles to find out more about what they do and their next events.
